Senior Photogrammatrist

Assess geo-location accuracy of imaged features against known geo-location accuracy of features to a full range of traditional and non-traditional imaging systems and products (i.e., NTM, LIDAR, OPIR, Airborne). Verify mensuration accuracy of the enterprise through object measurement of known dimensions. Calculate accuracy statistics and tabulate metrics to support mission activities and test reporting. Support geo-location and mensuration accuracy assessments of new sensor types during initialization activities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute coordinated approach to product quality testing for relative mensuration and absolute geo-location accuracy. Investigate and resolve photogrammetric discrepancies found during testing and analyze test results to determine adequacy of data or products for photogrammetric exploitation.

Required Education and & Skills:

Senior Level: Minimum 8 years of photogrammetry experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Work corporately and effectively as a team member.

Clearance: TS/SCI

Desired Skills & Education

Senior Level: BS or MS degree

Specific knowledge and experience with one or more sensor modality such as SAR, infrared, spectral, polarimetric or LIDAR

Knowledgeable of National, Tactical, Civil and Commercial sensor phenomenology

Senior Imagery Scientist

Provide technical expertise and guidance related to customer’s image and product quality assessment mission. Provide recommendations on methodologies for image and product quality assessments of NSG systems and processes used in the collection, processing, exploitation, storage and dissemination (TCPED) of GEOINT data and products. Conduct image and product quality assessments providing statistical analyses of results to determine accuracy and integrity of image data and products. Assist in the development and maintenance of image quality standards (e.g. NIIRS), scales, metrics and equations. Resolve important image quality problems in a fast paced, dynamic customer environment. Apply knowledge of NSG TCPED, image chain, sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes. Apply image science and systems engineering experience with sensor phenomenology of NTM, Airborne, OPIR, LIDAR, Full Motion Video (FMV), and/or Commercial systems. Identify phenomenological (i.e., radiometric, thermal, spectral) impacts to data quality. Evaluate utility of data cubes from multiple modalities using tool suites such as Python, Matlab, IDI, RemoteView, Socet GXP, and/or Envi.
